Foil wrap versus virgin board on team-book drops

A foil wrap catches light in a screenshot. A virgin board removes trade dress. Both can depict the same Avengers alley fight. If your tracker stores one image per issue number, you will lose one of those finishes.

Write the finish first: foil, matte, sketch, or virgin. Then copy the artist line exactly as the drop page printed it. Then note whether a ratio was stated. If no ratio appeared, say “open digital cover” rather than guessing a number.

Incentive variants belong on their own lines even when the costume colours match the standard. The ledger is a list of covers, not a collage. This is why variant cover notes take longer than a simple issue count: each finish is a cataloguing object.
